Hi! There is really only one Pug breed… You might see them in a few different colors: the most common is fawn (tan body and black facial markings) or all black. Sometimes you can even see grayish colors, black with white tufts of hair on their chests or feet, “apricot” colored fur, or even brindle, but that’s pretty rare. Pugs come in lots of shapes and sizes. I have seen extra small and compact pugs and I have seen tall and skinny pugs. I have even seen a nearly 50 pound giant pug that was massive! You may have seen a dog that looks like a pug because it may have been cross bred with one. Puggles (beagle/pug mixes) are very common. There are also a few other short-nosed dogs like French Bulldogs, boston terriers, and a few others that are often confused with pugs. I hope that is helpful!
Pugs are very special and they are known for being full of personality :)
Thank you, she was truly very special and is incredibly missed. I’m so glad we shared her with the world while she was here.
One of my all time favorite photos of sooti… She would always find these little spots of sunshine to sit in all over the house and close her eyes to enjoy it. Missing you girl
Thank you to everyone who has been commenting on Sooti’s photos and reblogging them with such nice messages. Not to mention, the sweet notes we have been getting to our inbox. It has been really helpful in this difficult time and reading about how much joy she brought to people’s lives really makes me smile :)
:) Thank you so much for your kind words. She is so missed.. I’m sure you know it’s unbearable. Funny, Sooti had a sister named Whoopi!
